Efficient Engineering TMS recently developed a gravity feed picking and packing solution for a major retail chain in South Africa. Gravity fed solutions are nothing new, they can be found across the warehouse and retail industry as well as a popular solution for the e-commerce market.
What made this one challenging was that it needed to be cost effective. After many discussions with the customer, a bit of trial and error, we settled with a solution that utilized various composites and lightweight materials that created an elegant lightweight affordable gravity feed picking and packing solution to the satisfaction of everyone involved.
