Our Recent Project
We recently completed a project for the new Truworths Distribution Centre in Cape Town, where we designed, manufactured, and installed eight supervisor platforms.
Key features of our platforms include:
- Steel Subframe: Engineered with a durable, powder-coated finish and assembled using bolted connections. This design eliminates the need for on-site welding, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation process.
- Robust Wall and Floor Materials:
- Walls constructed with 32mm melawood board for durability and aesthetics.
- Flooring made from shutterply, covered with rubber coin mats to withstand heavy foot traffic and protect against wear from work boots.
- Functional Design Elements:
- Custom desks tailored to the workspace needs.
- Aluminium window frames fitted with glass, providing visibility and a professional finish.
- Matching aluminium angles for neat exposed edges and joins.
- Skirting along the base to guard against water damage and impacts.
Project Success
We delivered and installed all eight platforms within the agreed lead time. Both we and the client were highly satisfied with the outcome, which combined functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
